1. Do I have to be a licensed pilot to rent the Golden Eagle?
Answer: Yes, unless the trip is a local discover or scenic flight. If you are rated as a single engine pilot transitioning to to a twin, multi engine pilot, you may rent our Cessna 421c Golden Eagle. From the first day you can begin flight training. Instruction begins en route to any needed destination, whether your first flight goes to New York, Atlanta, New Orleans, Bahamas or is simply a local discovery flight.
2. Is there a geographical limit to where I may travel with the airplane?
Answer: No. You may travel with the airplane to anywhere in the world whether it is for a business meeting in Atlanta, the Super Bowl in Tampa, or to view the glaciers from high above Greenland.
3. Is Daystar Air a charter service?
Answer: No. Rentals of our aircraft are for pilots.
